Isle of Skye Adventure Session with Maggie & Kyle
The Isle of Skye is one of the places in Scotland I love to come back. Whether it’s an elopement, adventure session or simple getaway. Isle of Skye Adventure Session for the couples is something I just love to do as a photographer. Best place and the best job task in the world. Isle of Skye has so much to offer, from incredible loch views, beaches and breathtaking mountain hiking to quiet woodlands. It’s impossible to discover even half of the Isle of Skye’s beauty in the whole day. It’s crucial to come up with a few solid spot plans for the Isle of Skye Adventure Session, depending on which part of the island it’s about to be explored.
I met Maggie at the writer’s retreat organised by Dunskey Estate. And a couple of years later, here we are, having an adventure session on the Isle of Skye, back to Scotland again. This time with Maggie and her partner, Kyle.

Old Man Storr – Breathtaking place, out of this world
We began our Isle of Skye adventure session on an early autumn morning. We drove through the darkness to one of the most iconic locations on the Isle of Skye map: the Old Man of Storr. As dawn broke, we started our hike. Arriving early has at least two important advantages:
The Storr, famous for its stunning structures and breathtaking views, is one of the most famous walks in the Highlands. The Storr hike attracts many visitors and is the busiest spot on the island. It’s surely beneficial to be there early for the intimacy and uninterrupted adventure session.
Secondly, the morning light is usually amazing. Soft light, with a little luck, sunset from the shoreside and misty rock peaks.

Loch Fada and Woodland’s Love Stories
After a couple of hours of hiking and taking photographs, we ventured into the serene corners of the Isle of Skye. One such spot was the lovely Loch Fada, which is easily accessible from the road, with the Old Man of Storr standing majestically in the distance—a reminder of the hike we had done not long ago. Fortunately, the weather was kind to us, and we enjoyed the sun’s rays filtering through the trees in a peaceful woodland near Portree, Skye’s capital on the central island. Though we were tired, we felt happy.
And that is how the Isle of Skye adventure session with Maggie and Kyle sadly came to an end.
