A spectacular day in a rustic barn-style experience
Melissa and Vasil’s luxury barn wedding at The Byre at Inchyra was a very special day. One of my most beautiful weddings of 2023 year. The Byre at Inchyra Wedding exceeded my expectations. The beauty of Melissa and Vasil’s day was so insanely beautiful on many levels, but I’ll get to that later. Let’s focus on The Byre at Inchyra Wedding Venue in the first place.
The Byre at Inchyra Wedding Venue
The Byre is one of the well-restored rustic Scottish wedding venues. As a wedding photographer, the first thing I got excited about – was the perfect lighting from the morning through the wedding ceremony till late dances. I was blown away by the fact The Byre at Inchyra Wedding Venue was designed with proper lighting conditions in mind. For most wedding venues (barn weddings especially) it’s a rare thing.
Other than that all bits and pieces were tastefully done, including wedding decor. The whole package was saying “We care a lot”. The Byre at Inchyra Venue deserves the luxury, rustic barn title, that The Byre at Inchyra aims for. With emphasis on the “luxury” word. Those qualities make the venue located in Perthshire county of Central Scotland stand out. This venue has the potential to be your favourite wedding venue as well.
The beauty in diversity through the photographer’s lenses
The Byre at Inchyra Wedding of Melissa and Vasil was a beautifully perfect blend of cultures and orientations. A blend of high-society Melissa’s friends and family from London with the Scottish intelligence of Vasil’s friends and family from Bulgaria. I captured all the love and details in a documentary style on that rainy morning.
Wedding at the Byre – The Ceremony
Another strong point of The Byre is the facility, which allows an easy backup plan for the wedding ceremony and reception if the weather gets moody. In Scotland, late Autumn time can be unpredictable. I was very happy to see the ceremony spot well lit up. The space called Lower Byre was designed for the ceremonies with large groups of wedding guests in mind.
The Wedding Ceremony of Melissa and Vasil was truly beautiful. Vasil was waiting for Melissa with Alison the celebrant while the Bide was waiting in the hall leading to The Lower Byre. That moment was truly meaningful and unforgettable. Such a beautiful moment to capture.
Embrace Hidden Garden Wedding Portraits at The Byre at Inchyra
Shortly after the Wedding ceremony, a newly married couple went for an intimate portrait session as the rain had stopped and the wonderful autumn sunlight filled out the venue and our hearts. A wonderful, quiet time away from happy, cheerful wedding guests. I found so many opportunities to get beautiful portrait photos! Especially in the hidden garden, which was full of apple trees.
Catching precious moments at the wedding reception
The clay pigeon shoot was so much fun! Melissa was rocking at the shoot score. Vasil couldn’t stand a chance of competing with the bride. Quality time at The Byre at Inchyra Wedding Venue.
Speeches and dinner time at The Byre at Inchyra
Later wedding celebrations took place in The Upper Byre wedding space. It was a pleasure to document those lovely, heartwarming moments. I’ll let the photos speak for themselves.
Wrap up with the blanket, enjoy the moment, chill out
I’ve not seen anything like that in any wedding venue. Guests could put slippers on, wrap themselves in blankets and relax in the Lower Byre. Vasil and Melissa have taken the opportunity to chill before the cake-cutting and dance with champagne.
Cake cutting, last dances and goodbye
At Melissa and Vasil’s wedding three tier cake decoration was tastefully simple. On the base made of old tree, decorated with dry flowers sit plain wedding cake. Sometimes less is more. After the cut, the couple enjoyed the taste by the cheering of the wedding guests. Shortly after the cake cutting, was a time for the first dance and wild wedding party with DJ music. And sadly, time to leave the wedding party for me. What a wonderful wedding night that I enjoyed to the last bit.
The Byre at Inchyra Wedding Venue Summary
I can’t tell what part of the day was the most enjoyable moment to being a part of the amazing Vasil and Melissa’s wedding day. Maybe all those smiles when first looked at the bride. Or perhaps touching moments with the parents. The vibe of The Byre at Inchyra Wedding Venue makes it one of my favourite places.
